First, we need to set up a virtual machine hypervisor to run the course VM for the labs. It is recommended that you install VMware’s Workstation Pro to use with this training. VMware Workstation Pro is now free to use. Alternatively, VirtualBox is another option but the setup instructions for this training only include directions for VMware Workstation Pro.

Since Broadcom’s acquisition of VMware they require you to sign up for a Broadcom account to download Workstation Pro.

2. After registration navigate here and download the VMware Workstation Pro installer of your choice.
